SA20 continues to bring games thick and fast! We are already up to Match 7 and there are eight points separating bottom of the table Pretoria Capitals from top of the table Durban's Super Giants.
Only the Royals and the Super Giants are still unbeaten in the competition, indeed both sides come into the new week with a 100% record. As ever in a T20 franchise tournament, momentum is important and the teams at the bottom of the table will be conscious of being left far behind.
This match at Kingsmead pits two of South Africa's key players over the last decade, Quinton de Kock and Faf du Plessis, against each other and we could be in for a high-scoring clash on Monday.

The batting depth of Durban's Super Giants is best highlighted by the fact that four of their players come into this match averaging over 41 in this season's tournament. And if that wasn't enough, they still have Quinton de Kock and his 9164 T20 runs ready to contribute a big score at any given time! Heinrich Klaasen is their leading run scorer with 98 runs, followed by JJ Smuts, Nicholas Pooran and opener Matthew Breetzke.
The pick of the bowlers for Durban's Super Giants so far has been Dwaine Pretorius and Richard Gleeson who have both taken three wickets each. Reece Topley has been the most expensive bowler in the attack so far but he opened up the second game with a wicket maiden against Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
The Super Giants will take a lot of stopping in this match!

It has been a tough start for Joburg Super Kings who saw the opening match of the tournament washed out without a ball being bowled against Sunrisers Eastern Cape and then were completely outplayed by MI Cape Town on Saturday. They had to wait for the 16th over of the innings to break the opening partnership and, unsurprisingly, leaked 243 runs across their 20 overs in the field!
And off the back of that meltdown in the field, their batting wasn't much better. Only four players in their middle order, Leus du Plooy at number four, through Moeen Ali, Donovan Ferreira and Romario Shepherd at number seven, made double figure scores as the team crumbled to being dismissed by 145 inside 18 overs.
There is plenty of experience in the squad and they will need to lean on that to get their season going in this match.

We should be able to get through this game without any rain interrupting play but there will be a threat of the wet stuff across the match! Cloudy throughout with high humidity and the temperature above 24 degrees from start to finish.

We saw 384 runs from 36.3 overs in the last match here in Durban and we expect more of the same in this match. The ball will come onto the bat at excellent pace and the batters will get full value for their shots. Whoever bats first will need to hit at least 200 runs to keep themselves in the game at the halfway stage.
Durban's Super Giants have won from choosing to bowl first and batting first so far in the tournament. However, they chose to field first in the last game at Kingsmead and we are backing both teams to choose to do the same if they win the toss ahead of this match.
It is certainly fair to say that Joburg Super Kings have been struggling in this campaign but it is even more accurate to state that Durban's Super Giants are flying high at the top of the table and with plenty of confidence. We can look no further than going for Durban's Super Giants as our winning prediction for this match.
We are backing Durban's Super Giants to win this match!
