It has been a tough start for Joburg Super Kings who saw the opening match of the tournament washed out without a ball being bowled against Sunrisers Eastern Cape and then were completely outplayed by MI Cape Town on Saturday. They had to wait for the 16th over of the innings to break the opening partnership and, unsurprisingly, leaked 243 runs across their 20 overs in the field!

And off the back of that meltdown in the field, their batting wasn't much better. Only four players in their middle order, Leus du Plooy at number four, through Moeen Ali, Donovan Ferreira and Romario Shepherd at number seven, made double figure scores as the team crumbled to being dismissed by 145 inside 18 overs.
