Galle Gladiators will be lead by Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka in this season. Tim Seifert and Avishka Perera will open the batting for the team. Their middle order will boost the likes of Shakib Al Hasan, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Mohammad Mithun, and Minod Bhanuka in their playing XI. 

They have a strong pace attack with the Vishwa Fernando, Kasun Rajitha, Richard Ngarva, and Lahiru Kumara in their bowling department. They also have a good spin bowlers like Shakib Al Hasan, Seekuge Prasanna, Tambraiz Shamsi, and Akila Dananjaya in their squad.
