India Preview

Rohit Sharma's side is through to the final after their 41-run win against Sri Lanka in the last game. The side has been clinical in its approach in the last three games after their hiccup in their first game against Pakistan. The top order has scored runs, and the bowlers are in good form. Sharma would like a big win here to build momentum ahead of the final.  

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are in excellent form and have given good starts in the last three games. The side will expect a strong show from them in this game. The middle order is formidable, and the side will expect runs from Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Ishan Kishan. Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel make it a formidable batting line-up.  

Indians have bowled well in the last two games, and they will expect a good show from pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj with the new ball. Kuldeep Yadav is in phenomenal form, with 9 wickets in the last two games. He will look to trouble the Bangladeshis in the middle overs. Shakib al Hasan and his men have been through a disastrous tournament campaign. Apart from the win against Afghanistan in the group stage, the side hasn't met the expectations. They went down by 21 runs against Sri Lanka in their last game and have no chance of making it to the next round. Shakib would like to end the tournament on a high, and a win against India will be a big confidence booster ahead of the World Cup.  

The side will expect a good show at the top from Mohammad Naim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz, as both players have scored runs. The middle order has been inconsistent, and the side will expect a good show from Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Towhid Hridoy. Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib are good hitters, and they must add quick runs in the lower middle order.  

The bowling attack will face a big challenge against the Indians. They will need good spells at the start from Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam to trouble India's in-form top order.
