Leicestershire Preview

Lewis Hill will be proud of leading a great campaign this year. They finished at the top of the points table in Group A with seven wins in eight games to their credit. The side ended the league stage with a confident 6-wicket win against Yorkshire. Hill will look to continue with the same momentum and reach the final for the first time.  

Soloman Budinger has been consistent this year, and the side will need a good start from him and Rishi Patel in this game. Peter Handscomb played well in the last game and will look to add runs in the middle order with Lewis Hill and Wiaan Mulder. They have power hitters in the lower middle order and shall expect runs from Colin Ackermann and Samuel Evans.  

The side will expect tight spells with the new ball from Chris Wright and Wiaan Mulder, as both are in good form. Matt Salisbury bowled well in the last game and will look to keep the run rate under check in the middle overs with Ackermann and Roman Walker. Will Davis will look to do well in the ing role.
