Surrey Women won the toss and opted to bat first on a flat track and their batters made most of the conditions on offer. Bryony Smith after a couple of low scores got going and scored 34 runs and her opening partner Danni Wyatt Hodge also got off to a good start (36 runs), where they added 65 runs for the 1st wicket. But both of them were back in the dugout in quick succession. 

Alice Capsey (79 runs ) and Sophia Dunkley (92 runs) added 155 runs for the 3rd wicket and put Surrey Women in a commanding position. Alice Monaghan (32 runs), Alice-Davidson Richards (40 runs) and Paige Scholfield (21 runs) powered Surrey Women to a mammoth total of 348 runs in 50 overs. 

Defending a huge total, Surrey Women came out all guns blazing and picked up wickets at regular intervals and never allowed Durham Women to build a partnership. Ryana McDonald Gay led the charge with figures of 3/38, Bryony Smith (2/41), Kalea Moore (2/46) and Danielle Gregory (2/61) were equally effective in the middle overs. As a result Durham Women were bowled out for 244 runs in 45.1 overs.

Warwickshire Women won the toss and opted to bowl first and their bowlers were bang on target in the very first over, picking up two wickets. But a partnership from Tammy Beaumount and Srah Bryce took the momentum away from them. Emily Arlott (3/39) and Georgia Davis (2/46) kept taking wickets in the middle overs and eventually The Blaze Women ended up at 252/9. 

Chasing down a challenging total, Warwickshire Women were slow to start off adding 48 runs for the 1st wicket in 14.1 overs. Stere Kallis was dismissed for 27 runs, Abigail Freeborn once again had a good outing, where she managed to score 40 runs. Davina Perrin installed some momentum into the run-chase with her quickfire half-century (53 runs in 49 balls). After such a solid start, they lost wickets in the middle overs at regular intervals. 

Charis Pavely (25 runs in 20 balls) held the innings at one end toiling hard with the tailenders and the injury to Chloe Brewer who didn’t come out bat didn’t help their cause either as Warwickshire Women scummbed to a 41 run loss.
