Major League Cricket has become a central point in American cricket. After two successful seasons of the league, the third season will take place with more thrill and entertainment from 12th June 2025. A total of 6 teams will come together to fight for one target - the MLC 2025 Trophy.
Washington Freedom won the previous edition of Major League Cricket by defeating San Francisco Unicorns in the final game. It was a high-scoring fixture where the batting unit of Washington Freedom was on fire, and their bowlers dominated the game from the start of the 2nd inning.
Texas Super Kings finished their league stage at the 3rd spot in the point table with 3 wins and 2 losses. They qualified for the playoffs but were eliminated after a defeat by the San Francisco Unicorns.
The defending champions, MI New York, ended up in the 4th spot in the point table with 2 wins and 4 losses. They were also part of the playoffs but were defeated by the Texas Super Kings and ended up empty-handed.
Major League Cricket 2025 will be a new beginning for all the franchises. This year, the league comes with some minor changes. There will be a total of 34 matches in the third season of the league. The increase in a number of matches will bring in more excitement to the league.
