The 10th season of the Pakistan Super League has come to an end, and it has scripted a perfect ending for Lahore Qalandars. In a high-scoring match, Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators on Sunday and clinched their 4th PSL title in style. Lahore Qalandars have now become the only team to have 4 titles and the highest number of titles in the league.
PSL 2025 was filled with many ups and downs, and it witnessed a suspension in the middle of the tournament. Due to the war-like situation between India and Pakistan, PSL 2025 was suspended for a week, but it started with a strong note, and Lahore Qalandars came out as the winners.
Lahore Qalandars started their league action with a loss against Islamabad United, and that impacted their overall confidence. They were inconsistent performers at the league stage and ended up in the 4th spot with 5 wins and 4 losses. Their net run rate stood at +1.036.
PSL 2025 winners managed to qualify for the playoffs. Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings in the first playoff and took their much-awaited revenge by dominating the 2nd playoff against Islamabad United. The final was set against Quetta Gladiators, who were the table toppers.
It was a poetic performance for Lahore Qalandars in the final game, as every individual in the game contributed to the game. Lahore Qalandars got the opportunity to start the game with the ball, and skipper Shaheen Afridi scalped 3 wickets at an economy of 6. Salman Mirza and Haris Rauf scalped 2 wickets each at an economy of 12.75 and 10.25, respectively.
On the batting front, Kusal Perera came out as the hero for the team. He scored 62 off 31 balls with a massive strike rate of 200. Muhammad Naeem (46 off 27) and Abdullah Shafique (41 off 28) were the key contributors at the top order.
As PSL 2025 comes to an end, the Indian betting apps make a note of the top performers in the league for future international games. In this article, we bring you a list of top performers who stunned everyone with their class in the league.
