Neutrals will be hoping that Zimbabwe can produce a stronger display in this game to raise expectations of a more competitive match on Sunday as well as for the entire series. Most pundits agree that Zimbabwe were very poor with the bat and their innings included four ducks!
But even if Zimbabwe step up a few levels, there is nothing to say that Bangladesh will not do the same. Litton Das, their top opening batter, scored only 1 and their star pace bowler, Shoriful Islam, went wicketless on Friday.
We expect both sides to improve but Bangladesh are starting from a position of strength after Friday's win.
With pace bowler Taskin Ahmed taking 3/14 on his way to winning the Player of the Match Award, and Tanzid Hasan top scoring at the top of the order with 67 not out from 47 balls on his T20I debut, there was plenty for Bangladesh to celebrate on Friday.
Now, they just need to do it four more times and they will be in prime form ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup which gets underway next month.
Bangladesh are always a strong side in home conditions and Friday's game was an example of this. Zimbabwe looked unsure in these local conditions and we expect to see Bangladesh exploiting that again in this match.

Zimbabwe will be looking to their experienced quad of Craig Ervine, Sean Williams, captain Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl to all produce better innings in this match and give the rest of the side some hope in this T20I. Because none of those four got a run on Friday, it made the job of their top bowlers all the tougher as they tried, in vain, to defend a target of 125.
So the long and short of it is that Zimbabwe need their bowlers and the batters to go up a level or two in this match. The likes of Richard Ngarava and Sikandar Raza are seriously good international bowlers and for the good of the series, as well as for Zimbabwe's team management, a strong performance would be exciting to see.

It is going to be hot and humid during Sunday's T20I and it would be a surprise if there were no rain interruptions. Any rain is likely to be thundery so we can expect the umpires to halt proceedings if and when it arrives.
This is usually a pitch which gives a good contest between bat and ball with the surface providing pace but not a huge amount of bounce. Whoever bats first will be looking to post 165+.
Bangladesh cruised home after winning the toss and choosing to field first on Friday, so we predict that both captains will look to replicate this approach and chase a total in this game.
Many more established cricketing nations than Zimbabwe have travelled to Bangladesh over recent years only to suffer defeat in a T20I series so Sikandar Raza's men are in for another tough evening. We are predicting an easy win again for Bangladesh and expect to see them with a 2-0 series lead at the end of this game.
We are backing Bangladesh to win.
