Both teams are coming into this match with a win in the last game. They’ve been impressive with the ball. India B led by Abhimanyu Easwaran defeated a strong India A in the last match. 

India A had some of the top India cricketers in their batting lineup. And still, bowlers like Mukesh Kumar, Navdeep Saini, and Yash Dayal led India B to a 76-run win.

India C didn’t look very strong going into this match and weren’t our favorites to win either. They led by 4 runs batting second after the bowlers restricted the opposition to just 164 runs.

India B Preview

India B played their first Test in Bengaluru at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium which is a batting paradise. However, even on that batting-friendly wicket, India B batters failed to deliver.

Musheer Khan was the standout performance with an 181-run knock at number 3 in the 1st innings. Rishabh Pant scored a fifty in the 2nd innings while Sarfaraz Khan missed the same milestone by 4 runs.

Apart from them, Navdeep Saini’s fifty in the lower order was another highlight performance in the batting lineup. If it wasn’t for the bowlers, India B would not have won that game.

Navdeep Saini and Mukesh Kumar are the key bowlers in this attack. They will find a lot more help from the pitch at the ACA ADCA Ground in Anantapur. They played 2 spinners in the last match - R Sai Kishore and Washington Sundar.

They might not find a lot of help from the surface in this Test. The batters will face an even tougher challenge in this match. They’re up against a strong bowling attack and on a pace-friendly pitch.

Abhimanyu Easwaran and Yashaswi Jaiswal need to find their rhythm at the top. Jaiswal will be looking to play a bigger knock as he aims for a spot in the India squad for the Australia tour.

India C will be delighted with their win after a poor start in the 1st innings against India D. Their bowlers were exceptional after winning the toss and opting to bowl first.

Vijaykumar Vyshak who struggled in the T20s was impressive and picked up 5 wickets in the match. The left-arm orthodox bowler Manav Suthar bagged 7 wickets in the 2nd innings on a wicket that was predicted to be pace-friendly.

Anshul Kamboj and Himanshu Chauhan are other key pacers in the side. Rutuaraj Gaikwad will be pleased with his team’s comeback in the second innings. India C had 3 batters who scored 40+ while Abhishek Porel was unbeaten on 35 runs at number 6.

Porel made handy contributions in both innings but Baba Indrajith was the highlight performance in the 1st innings. He stayed around for a long time for his 72-run knock.

The middle-order is pretty solid and should be able to deliver a better performance in the 1st innings. It won’t be an easy outing against the strong bowling lineup for India B but Gaikwad and Co. are well equipped to face any challenge.
