SRH vs KKR, Arun Jaitley Stadium Stats and Records

In the 68th match of IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad will meet Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday in the 2nd fixture of the day. SRH vs KKR will take place in uncharted territory for both teams, and hence, we can expect some thrilling moments in the game. Both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders were the finalists of the previous edition of IPL, but this year, they both have failed to even reach the playoffs. It is because of their rivalry in the previous season, there is an animosity between the two teams for the Sunday fixture.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently at the 8th position in the point table with 5 wins and 7 losses. Their net run rate stands at -0.737. It was a shock to see Sunrisers Hyderabad unable to perform with the bat even after having the most dominating lineup of batters again this year. Their strength became their weakness this year, and hence, the team has displayed below-average performance.

Kolkata Knight Riders are currently at the 7th spot in the point table with 5 wins and 6 losses. Their net run rate stands at +0.193. Kolkata Knight Riders were under the captaincy, and they also failed to retain their key players from the last season. This result was devastating for them, and a win won’t change anything.

In this article, we bring you all the stats and records for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders from their past fixtures at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The trusted betting sites in India will have their odds on the basis of the same stats and records for both teams.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders - Previous Encounter

The previous SRH vs KKR match took place on 4th April at the Eden Gardens. It was a dominating performance by the Kolkata Knight Riders and an easy win against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was the same game where Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their confidence in the batting unit because it was their 3rd consecutive loss and a low score.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bowl first. The start was good as Pat Cummins and Mohammad Shami struck in the early hours of the game. However, things went off track because their bowling turned out to be expensive. Simranjeet Singh was the most expensive bowler with an economy of 11.75, and he also failed to pick a wicket.

Venkatesh Iyer was the top scorer for Kolkata Knight Riders as he scored 60 off 29 balls at a strike rate of 206.90. Ajinkya Rahane (38 off 27) and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (50 off 32) also had a good partnership in the match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad started the game on a poor note as they lost their first 4 wickets at a score of 44 runs. Heinrich Klassen was the leading run-scorer for Hyderabad with 33 off 21 balls at a strike rate of 157.14. It was clearly not enough to complete the chase.

Vaibhav Arora and Varun Chakaravarthy picked up 3 wickets each for KKR at an economy of 7.25 and 5.50, respectively. Andre Russell scalped 2 wickets at an economy of 12.60. Harshit Rana and Sunil Narine contributed with a single wicket each.
